Load compliance check
Plan a truck or container load and check it against the rules: payload, where the load balances, and a semi-trailer's axle loads under US Interstate or EU limits, Bridge Formula included, as loaded and again after each stop comes off. Each check cites its rule and gives the nearest fix.

Describe the load
Add your vehicle or container with its weight limit, then the items with their size, weight and stop. For a semi-trailer, set its axles under Axle loads and pick its road rules: US Interstate or EU.

Under Tools, turn on Compliance checks. The button above opens the load planner with them on.

Read each check
Each space lists its checks as pass, warn or fail, with what the plan measures, the limit, the rule it follows, and the nearest fix in numbers.
Load compliance check questions
What does it check?
That the cargo is within the space's weight limit; that a vehicle's load balances near mid-length and below half its height, as the CTU Code asks; that a semi-trailer's axle loads are within the limits set on it; and, with road rules picked, the gross weight and axle limits of the law.
Which road rules?
US Interstate, under 23 CFR 658.17 for a tractor with a two-axle trailer: 80,000 lb gross, 20,000 lb on the steer axle, 34,000 lb on each tandem, and the Bridge Formula over every run of axles. EU, under Directive 96/53/EC for a two-axle tractor with a three-axle trailer: 40 t gross, 10 t steer axle, 11.5 t drive axle, 24 t tri-axle, and at least a quarter of the gross on the drive axle. State and national limits and permits aren't checked.
Why check again after each stop?
A multi-drop trip moves the load's balance and the axle loads as each stop comes off, so the checks run as loaded and again once each stop but the last is off.
Is it a certificate?
No. The checks support your decision; they are not a certificate, and not a verified gross mass under SOLAS.
Can my own system run the checks?
Yes. A load planned through the API or an AI assistant returns the same checks on each space, each with its rule, value, limit and fix.
