Cut list labels
Solve a cut list and print a label for every part and every offcut worth keeping, on Avery sheets, a Dymo or a Zebra printer. Each label says what the piece is and where it was cut. Free, no sign-up.
Your sheet layouts will appear here.
Fill in your sheets and parts, then press Plan my sheets.
How it works
-
01
Name your parts
Give each part a name, like Side or Shelf, so its label says what it is. Banded edges and grain go on the label too.
-
02
Plan the sheets
Press Plan my sheets, then pick the label stock in the Labels line under the plan: Avery 5160, Avery L7160, Dymo 89 x 36, Zebra 4 x 2 or Zebra 2 x 1.
-
03
Print and stick
Label sheets open as a print page: print at 100% scale, not fit to page. Zebra files download and go straight to the printer.
Cut list labels questions
Which label sizes are there?
Avery 5160 (US Letter, 30 labels of 2⅝ × 1 in), Avery L7160 (A4, 21 labels of 63.5 × 38.1 mm), Dymo 89 × 36 mm, and ZPL files for a Zebra printer at 203 dpi, 4 × 2 in or 2 × 1 in.
What's on a part label?
Its name, finished size (and cut size when banding changes it), material, its sheet and where on it, its banded edges, a grain arrow when its grain matters, and a QR code.
What does the QR code hold?
Short plain text that says what the piece is, so any phone or scanner reads it without NestSolver. The Dymo and 4 × 2 in labels add a Code 128 barcode.
Are offcuts labelled too?
Yes. Every leftover worth keeping gets a label with its size, material, sheet and a QR code, so it goes back on the rack ready for the next job.
Can I label linear cuts?
Yes. In the linear optimizer, Labels prints a label for every part and drop, with its length, its bar and where on the bar it's cut.
